Post-Divorce Modification

It is the nature of domestic relations practice that, after a judgment has been entered, the circumstances of the parties sometimes change so substantially and materially that modification of the judgment is appropriate. Modification actions can arise as a result of many circumstances, including but not limited to a significant change in a party's income, circumstances surrounding a child's changing needs, requests for relocation of a parent with a child, or as a result of allegations of a parent's neglect or abuse of a child.

The Law Offices of Miriam G. Altman, P.C. has successfully represented numerous clients in post-judgment modification actions. We approach all of our cases with respect, intensity and caring support. When settlement is possible, we work with our clients and the opposing counsel to reach an agreement.
